I would like to call to Oppositelock’s collective attention this eBay listing. As you can tell by the title of the link and the thumbnail this listing is for Citroens. Yes, that is Citroens with an S! The seller has many DS’s and is will to part with them for $500-$2000. Yes they may be basket cases for most people’s skillets, yes they will be a major pain to restore but there is a wagon and that is a bonafide sex machine.

I sorta want one, but Colorado usually means rust and old Citroen and rust sorta go hand in hand.

OH GOD. I CAN AFFORD THAT. WHY AM I THAT FAR?

I’ve been wondering about that lot for years. Murilee Martin and I both looked into them. It’s right near Safway scaffold in denver. There is also a building on the property, no idea what’s in it. It’s owned by a famous Citroën collector.

Because you would be insane to buy one. If I was closer I would have one but thankfully I am really far away.

Well now you have an idea. Do the insanely idiotic thing that the rest of us want to do and buy one of these money pits.

Am in SF now, I helped a friend in Boulder remodel some stuff and saw it. We found out later its a lot owned by a collector who lives in FL. Back then Murilee moved to CO and said he had checked into it. The scaffold people said they never saw anyone go in there. You can see the cars on Google maps across from that scaffold business. It’s in city of industry near denver. Safway scaffold. I have a w123 mercedes but I have always wanted a DS.

Never mind on buying one in that case. I wonder how long they've been there.

Years, but there is a building on the property, no idea what’s in it. I almost went in to see but decided not to. There are like 30 cars, go count them on Google maps.

You're making me want to go out there. I already have enough random internet car bids going on in the Midwest and east coast. I don't need to accidentally buy a car that far away.
